ADC Nederland was declared bankrupt in June 2026, bringing an end to the almost 50-year history of a family-owned business that had grown into one of the Netherlands’ larger print production companies. The bankruptcy affected more than 140 employees. Troostwijk Auctions is conducting the three auctions on the instructions of court-appointed bankruptcy trustee R.F.W. van Seumeren of Dutch law firm Van Iersel Luchtman N.V.

ADC was founded in 1980 in ’s-Hertogenbosch, initially providing reprographic services for large-format construction drawings. Over the following decades, the company developed into a full-service provider of printed and other physical communications. Its activities included digital printing, personalised packaging, signage, visual merchandising and promotional products.
Within the print industry, the company was known for its extensive production capacity and continued investment in digital technology, automation and more sustainable production methods. This technological breadth is reflected in the two production-equipment auctions. Together, they cover almost the entire print production process, from digital and large-format printing to cutting, creasing, folding, laminating, binding and packaging.
The auction in Barendrecht, near Rotterdam, comprises approximately 386 lots and focuses primarily on large-format printing, signage and visual communications. Highlights include a 2022 Canon Arizona 6160 XTHF Mark II UV flatbed printer, three Océ Colorado 1640 UVgel large-format printers, a Zünd G3 XL-3200 CNC cutting machine and a Kongsberg i-XL24 Esko MultiCut CNC cutting machine.
Approximately 287 lots of print production equipment are being auctioned at the ’s-Hertogenbosch site. The selection includes a Highcon Euclid IIIs digital laser cutting and creasing system, a 2022 Canon imagePRESS C10010VP, an Océ VarioPrint i300 and a wide range of professional equipment for cutting, folding, laminating, punching and binding.
A third auction comprises 349 lots from ADC’s office, warehouse and workshop facilities in ’s-Hertogenbosch. The assets include computers, monitors, workstations, server equipment, office furniture, warehouse racking, internal transport equipment and printing materials and supplies.
“It is rare for such a broad and modern range of print production machinery to reach the market at the same time,” says Jasper van Leeuwen, Insolvency Account Manager at Troostwijk Auctions. “Equipment of this kind is generally acquired through lengthy capital investment programmes and is only occasionally available on the used machinery market. This makes the auctions particularly relevant to companies looking to expand, modernise or complement their production capacity.”

“Prospective buyers should review the available lots well in advance,” Van Leeuwen continues. “These are specialist machines that do not come onto the market every day. The online auction pages provide detailed photographs, technical specifications and sale conditions for each lot.
