De Loonbrouwerij, a leading company from Cothen, the Netherlands, that offered professional brewing capacity to Dutch craft brewers, is ending its activities. All the high-quality equipment and accessories belonging to De Loonbrouwerij are therefore being auctioned online via the Troostwijk Auctions online platform. Bidding is possible until Wednesday 6 March 2024, the auction closes at 2:00 PM.
De Loonbrouwerij started in 2015 as a spin-off of its own beer brand. When it turned out that external brewing capacity in the Netherlands was limited for semi-professional or hobby brewers, they decided to shift their focus completely to brewing for external market parties. After investing in a new German brewing installation in 2017, with pressure tanks, beer treatment equipment and top-quality filling lines, De Loonbrouwerij became into a serious player.
More recently, the Founders and owners of De Loonbrouwerij were forced to take the decision to terminate the business due to rising costs and strong growth in brewing capacity in the Netherlands and Belgium. Because of this, De Loonbrouwerij's assets are now being auctioned through Troostwijk Auctions' online platform.
