Contracting company J.P. van Nieuwkoop Gouda B.V. from the Netherlands will cease trading on 28 June 2024. For this reason, all the company's cultivation and horticultural machinery and tractors are being offered for sale in an online auction at Troostwijk Auctions. The auction opens at 16:00 on Wednesday 19 June 2024. Bidding is possible until Tuesday 16 July 2024, with the auction closing at 19:00.

For the contracting company, 2024 is a year of big changes. The company celebrates its 60th anniversary, but it will also be the year in which owners Jan and Anita van Nieuwkoop, due to a lack of successors and for age reasons, will end the business as of 28 June 2024.

Horticultural machinery and tractors
Due to this business termination, all machines and tractors of Loonbedrijf Van Nieuwkoop will be auctioned online at Troostwijk Auctions. This offers other (contracting) companies in the horticultural sector a great opportunity to expand their machinery fleet at a favourable price.

About Van Nieuwkoop
In recent decades, contracting company Van Nieuwkoop Gouda developed its own approach and new techniques. In doing so, the company created a large and good reputation in the Netherlands and abroad. Van Nieuwkoop works for the top of the horticultural sector and is the market leader in crop shredding in Dutch vegetable cultivation. The company has built long-term relationships with customers and other cooperation partners such as suppliers.

The search for a new owner has been intensive recently. Serious talks were also held with candidates. But it proved impossible to transfer the capital-intensive business in its entirety. Therefore, the contracting activities of Van Nieuwkoop will cease on 28 June 2024.

About the auction
