Drukkerij Schuttersmagazijn bankrupt: entire inventory in online auction
Due to bankruptcy, the entire inventory of Drukkerij Schuttersmagazijn is currently being auctioned via Troostwijk Auctions' online platform. All of the printing house's equipment and contents - including graphic machines, packaging lines, folding and glueing machines and machines for internal transport - are being sold online. The auction closes on Wednesday, 23 August 2023, at 10:00 am.
Drukkerij Schuttersmagazijn, also known as SMG Group, was declared bankrupt in June of this year. The company was founded in 1952, first under the name Schuttersmagazijn, later SMG-groep and then the company settled on something in between with SchuttersMGZ. In April 2021, the printing house was hit by a significant fire. The damage from this fire was not clearly visible on the outside of the building, but the machinery suffered considerable damage. After the fire, investments were made in Komori equipment, among other things.
Barely used printing equipment
By order of the trustee, Drukkerij Schuttersmagazijn's complete inventory is being sold in an online bankruptcy auction at Troostwijk Auctions. The auction offer consists mainly of barely-used machines because these were only purchased after the fire in 2021.
The equipment offered includes a Komori offset press, a Bacciottini creasing/folding machine, a Heidelberg stahlfolder setup, a Duplo cutting machine, various plastic pallets, pallet trucks, a humidification installation, strapping units, hydraulic press containers supplied from the paper extraction installation, including lift installation, a Linde forklift truck, a paper extraction installation, a Jungheinrich forklift truck, a water treatment unit, Atlas Copco compressed air compressors, a film wrapper, a water atomisation installation, and various office inventory.
